Job Description
I am currently supporting a leading Insurance business on their search for a Financial Controller during a period of restructure
The role will be responsible for:
* Review monthly management accounts for 2 entities on standalone/consolidated basis.
* Review annual statutory accounts for 2 entities on standalone/consolidated basis and 4 branches
* Automate data flows between systems, and automate production of finance deliverables.
* Participate and be finance lead on projects with the CFO and other senior executives.
* Review month end close entries of inward underwriting transactions (such as premium earnings, claims paid/reserves, fronting) and reconcile to source data.
* Review month end close entries of outward underwriting transactions (such as premium cessions, claim recoveries) and reconcile to source data.
Profile Requirements
* Fully qualified ACA/ACCA accountant - or equivalent
* 10 years post qualified experience
* Experience of preparation of insurance management and statutory accounts - essential.
* Must have full right to work within the UK (no sponsorship available) - hybrid/flexible working available.
