ASSISTANT MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

As part of their ongoing growth, they now require an Assistant Management Accountant to support their growth and strengthen the Head Office function. The Role:
Production of the Management Accounts, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Reporting & Analysis
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation of the monthly accruals and prepayments
- Ownership of the fixed asset register and associated depreciation charges.
- Calculation and posting of the monthly Payroll journal
- Production of the Management accounts together with key analysis
- Regional royalty invoicing and reconciliation
- Monthly revenue analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with production of forecasts & budgets
- Setting up of new nominal codes
- Assisting in implementation of new Finance System
- Understand CRM system, Administrate, and develop new meaningful reporting
- Help in the development and improvements of existing systems and processes
- Assisting with the preparation of year end audit support files
- Ad hoc/various production of reports and other management information
The ideal candidate profile:
- Part Qualified/partially exempt accountant
- Experience of similar role within an SME
- Good Excel skills -vlookups and pivot tables
- Proactive, organised, good communicator with ability to liaise with people of all levels
