Description

Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) - Wholesaler Duties:

• Prepare month end reports highlighting and interpreting variance to budget and last year. This will include but not be limited to -
  • Invoiced Sales by channel, COGS, margin.
  • Analyse Gross profit per customer group.
  • Analyse Operating costs per cost centre.
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.
• Manage day to day banking including but not limited to
  • Oversee submission of reports and perform reconciliations as per requirements of Receivables Finance Agreement and Trade Loan Facilities.
  • Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled.
  • Weekly payment runs in line with cash flow.
  • Liaise with product team re payments to International Suppliers.
• Manage the cashflow and produce forecast adjustments to alert team of risks or actions required to ensure the business remains within agreed parameters.
• VAT return for UK and Netherlands
• Manage merchant accounts.
• Ensure Credit Control procedures are followed and liaise with Sales team to resolve issues.
• Review customer terms and credit limits and discounts and flag risk and actions as needed.
• Reconcile stores cash and expenses.
• Analyse trade show sales and expenses and provide an informed view of the ROI (return on investment).
• Calculate and regularly update the fixed asset register.
• Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations.

Profile

Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) - Wholesaler Criteria:

• Part qualified CIMA/ACCA OR qualified by experience in a similar role
• Experience in a high volume environment e.g. e-commerce, retail, FMCG etc.
• Intermediate Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS etc.)
• Team player with a positive attitude
