Job Description

This is a fantastic new opportunity working as a full time Accounts Payable Assistant based in Horsham.

Working for this global leader who puts its employees first, and who have an amazing people ethos, you will have at least 12-months work experience in a numerical/customer service focused role which has given you exposure to working in a fast-paced environment, and where you've managed to learn Microsoft Excel in a competent fashion.

Duties to Include

  • Processing all purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of purchase invoices
  • Resolve purchase invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements on an ongoing basis
  • Month end closing of Purchase Ledger including control account reconciliation
  • Monthly & Weekly supplier payment runs
  • Supplier Statement reconciliations
  • Expenses reconciliations and payments

The successful candidate:

The successful Accounts Payable must possess the following skill set and experience;

  • Background in Accounts Payable (Desirable)
  • Ability to process data manually and accurately
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good customer services skills and able to resolve queries in a reasonable manner
  • Background using Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple activities
  • Demonstrate a collaborative, team working approach focused on improvements and supporting the vision
  • To be flexible and able to adapt and prioritise workload

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Background in Accounts Payable (Desirable)
