Maintaining the Financial Statements to a high standard
Accountable for submitting Statutory Accounts and Tax returns to mandated deadlines
Owning the relationship with the banks, and ensuring strict anti-fraud processes are in place for payments
Working collaboratively and openly with the controlling department on month end
Maintain process documentation for areas such as asset disposal, journal approvals, bad debt write-off
Build and maintain excellent working relationships with other department ensuring the provision of a positive and professional service that enables the progression of the financial strategy
Ensuring compliance with financial controls and acting as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, assisting where necessary and appropriate
Overseeing and approving journal entries, reconciliations of financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy.
Maintaining good working relationships with all members as well as our partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
Maintaining and updating the fixed assets database and intercompany recharge management
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
CIMA or ACCA Part-qualified accountant & committed to completing studies
Experienced within a Financial Accounting, audit or Financial Management role
Highly proficient in excel with excellent working knowledge of accounting software packages and the ability to handle and integrate complex data sources, both manual and electronic
Good working knowledge of UK tax, auditing, and commercial regulatory rules
Build strong relationships, mentoring and motivating, creating a team spirit
Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the company
