Job Description

•  Ensure all reporting timetables are met, and accounting procedures are maintained
• Produce monthly management accounts  Profit and loss and Balance sheet and weekly cash flow
•  Review and reconcile all balance sheet accounts  Including Sundry debtors, Sundry Creditors, Intercompany, etc
• Work closely with sales and operational management teams to ensure accurate reporting
• Coaching and development of team members
•  Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge of relevant IT systems.
•  Preparation of accounting entries, including accruals prepayments and maintenance of inter and intra-company transactions and balances
•  Preparation of VAT returns, and responsibility for all information supporting corporation tax packs required at year-end for Group reporting
•  Prepare analysis of sales and margins by product category and provide insightful commentary and follow-up actions where discrepancies are identified
