Job Description
- Managing a small Finance department, leading the team, offering guidance and support
- Varied accounting role includes 60% finance and 40% tax work
- Ensuring the integrity of reported financial results, improving accounting systems/processes, as well as internal controls
- Owning the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, creating the budgeted/forecasted
- Monitoring performance including pricing, cost, and margin analysis
- Cash flow forecasting and management
- Resolving technical accounting issues for compliance
- Completing and overseeing month end activities, including journal entries, financial statement preparation, analysis, and reconciliations
- Overseeing all statutory audit, tax audit and other year-end operations
- Preparing year-end corporation tax return and liaising with external tax accountant/auditors as required
- Ensuring adherence to European laws and guidelines, statutory reporting requirements
- Reporting to global stakeholders for all financial transactions and activities
- Collaborating across departments to ensure financial information is collated and reported, as well as involvement in strategic conversations within the business
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Candidates will be ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
