Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management accounts
- Maintain the fixed asset registers
- Assist in the reconciliation of all cash accounts , posting and reconciliation of the monthly financial journals and intercompany accounts
- Process and ensure trial balances accurately reflect the company’s financial position
- Assist in the year-end audit process
- Update cash flow with completed monthly sale figures
- Process and post sales ledger receipts for all companies
- Prepare direct debit file for German dealers
- Maintain prepayments and accruals schedule for all companies
- Understand sales and purchase ledger balances
- Complete stock reporting
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA finalist ideally with at least 2 years’ experience
- Experience gained within a retail / e-commerce (stocked based) business would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and SQL preferred
- Strong organization skills with excellent analytical skills
- High attention to detail
