Job Description

We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team to be based out of our Centre of excellence for our multi-award winning plant-based products in Milton Keynes, including the famous brands. The role purpose is to assist the site finance team in the reporting of the site performance and will be reporting into the site Management Accountant.

The role will involve the following:

• ERP system interrogation
• Site KPI reporting
• Data Analysis
• Adhoc. General Finance Admin
• Reporting on site variances on topics such as: 
  • MUV
  • Labor 
  • Distribution
  • Overheads

This is a Monday to Friday role, with office hours based around 8.30-5pm, however a degree of flexibility will be required for busy times, such as audits, year end and other team member holidays. We are also flexible and happy to discuss working hours around these and acknowledge working from home from time to time when needed/convenient. We are looking to hire somebody as soon as possible, interviews will be held remotely or locally at site as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ideally you will be working towards a recognized accounting qualification such as CIMA or ACCA. This role is ideal for someone who is part qualified or looking to start their career in finance as it does not require extensive experience or industry knowledge. This will all be taught to you on the job by the supportive site team. We aim to develop our teams, and where appropriate/available support them with their continued professional development with qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA.
