Job Description

You will be focused on contributing towards our growth through supporting deal origination, structuring and execution. This role will enable exposure to areas including vendor finance, securitization, consumer credit, factoring, and other structured finance based products. You will also focus on deal process management, to support driving deals forward through to execution – including taking the lead on certain transactions and work streams (dependent on individual preference as well as team requirement).

The role offers direct client exposure, to our operating companies, wider group companies and subsidiaries, as well as prospective third party clients and funders. Prior experience with supply chain finance, receivables financing, securitization and origination within this or a related area, would be key to success in the role.

  • Operate as supporting point of contact, alongside Director, for stakeholders (banks, other external funders, internal teams – treasury, legal)
  • Setting up new platforms, onboarding suppliers, executing structural enhancements to the programme, produce materials in support of raising capital, managing KYC, and deliver operational, and potentially legal, work streams ensuring seamless execution
  • Contribute towards the development of new products, currently at varying stages of finalization. This includes asset as a service (currently focused on energy financing) / asset leasing, inventory financing, consumer credit, and the extension of loans to suppliers
  • Support the launch of new deals or amendments/extensions, and lead various work streams
  • Act as a point of contact to certain external stakeholders (e.g. banks and internal teams tasked with ongoing operations)
  • Originate deal flow across the aforementioned products from within the group, and beyond through supporting discussions and production of marketing materials. Significant potential pipeline will enable exposure to different product sets and clients across UK/European jurisdictions
  • Identify new opportunities where our product suite may be applied and support with market analysis and subsequent implementation, including stakeholder management (e.g. Treasury, Legal, Tax, Senior Management).
  • As we look to begin to service third parties, this role will also be involved in supporting dialogue with potentially suitable external companies for its products
  • Support our wider development through the above, as well as pursuing new business ideas that may fit the mandate of the team
  • Regular reporting and communication of relevant initiatives to senior management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • You will have a solid academic background minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, Transactional Banking
  • Experience with supply chain finance and/or receivables financing/securitization
  • Robust modelling and presentational skills
  • Exposure to large scale projects and ideally experience in establishing financing structures/facilities
  • Excellent communication skills with potential clients (internal/external) and partners
  • Can-do mentality, pragmatic, drives for excellent results
  • Experience and comfortable working in an inclusive, international, collaborative and multicultural environment
