Job Description
We are seeking an experience candidates, Qualified by experience or ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified who can undertake responsibility for a wide reaching role within Finance. Working in a team of 3, reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be involved in key duties to include:
- Full management reporting for UK and US subsidiaries operating within the Group.
- Weekly / monthly sales reporting and quarterly forecasting
- Order book analysis and reporting
- Month end journals
- Monthly stock count and valuation
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers
- Intercompany transactions
- Monthly management accounts - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, analysis and commentary
- Application of relevant accounting standards
- Financial support to projects on an as required basis
- Authorization of bank transactions and supplier payment runs
- Ownership of Sage 200 system
- Payment of UK payroll, taxes & National Insurance deductions
- Management of the Accounts Assistant
- Quarterly VAT returns
- R&D tax credit calculations
- Financial support for grant applications and making claims on an as required basis
- Ensure the adherence of the finance function to company policy and procedures
