We are seeking an experience candidates, Qualified by experience or ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified who can undertake responsibility for a wide reaching role within Finance. Working in a team of 3, reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be involved in key duties to include:

• Full management reporting for UK and US subsidiaries operating within the Group.
• Weekly / monthly sales reporting and quarterly forecasting
• Order book analysis and reporting
• Month end journals
• Monthly stock count and valuation
• Maintenance of fixed asset registers
• Intercompany transactions
• Monthly management accounts - P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, analysis and commentary
• Application of relevant accounting standards
• Financial support to projects on an as required basis
• Authorization of bank transactions and supplier payment runs
• Ownership of Sage 200 system
• Payment of UK payroll, taxes & National Insurance deductions
• Management of the Accounts Assistant
• Quarterly VAT returns
• R&D tax credit calculations
• Financial support for grant applications and making claims on an as required basis
• Ensure the adherence of the finance function to company policy and procedures
