Job Description
  • Accurately deliver to month end timetable with fully reconciled workbooks
  • Invoice life-cycle management including bank payments and bank reconciliations
  • Support the management accounting deliverables, including balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work with the Finance Manager to develop and maintain a robust reporting process for Management Reporting
  • Deliver insightful variance analysis
  • Deliver on ad hoc projects to deadline and to a high standard
  • Accurately monitor and maintain the accounts payable mailbox
  • Understand, analyses and reconcile the cost of sales accounts
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including weekly bank account reconciliations
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded appropriately for the month end close
  • Actively participate in the year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation
  • Other ad hoc projects
  • Accounts Assistant Requirements:
  • Invoice life cycle management and accounts payable ownership experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Have the ability to multi-task, problem solve, and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to find errors and correct them
  • Ability to pivot and be adaptable

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Studying professional accountancy accreditation (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Part Qualified
