Job Description

The primary focus of the role will be to manage the cash flow modelling on a large number of BTR sites over multiple funds. The Investment Analyst will work alongside the London development team with regular communication with external investors and report into chief executive level.

Responsibilities

• Working with a close team to build, refine and maintain the financial model to cover all current and prospective acquisitions
• Sensitivity analysis across the acquisition portfolio
• Adapt and discuss excel based appraisals for potential opportunities alongside the development team. Understand the impact of the key financial inputs
• Provide detailed analysis of prospective opportunities for investment committee sign off and approval
• Assist with due diligence on potential acquisitions including market research where necessary
• Responsible for collecting and tracking information fed through the development team
• Liaise with key capital investors to update on progress and financial matters and build relationship
• Clear and effective reporting of progress and issues

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Demonstrate experience of designing, building and operating financial models as core component of a previous role
• Advanced excel skills, including working knowledge of best practice modelling principles
• Be competent with VBA excel
• University degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to communicate confidently with property and investment professionals to explain the outcomes of specific changes in the model
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in the property sector
• A positive team player attitude willing to get involved in a highly motivated team to drive the business forward
