Job Description

You'll play an instrumental role in strengthening and developing our customer base. You'll be engaging with a varied range of existing and potential clients to build a productive portfolio which delivers quality and sustainable income against targets. We’ll be asking you to consistently deliver on customer needs and assist the bank in achieving their lending commitment. You’ll meet our customers’ needs by providing excellent customer service, giving us great satisfaction rates and feedback scores. Also, you’ll make sure key business goals are met in a manner consistent with our values, while driving quality interactions through face to face contact with a panel of intermediaries to earn trust, confidence and respect.

You’ll also be:

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with a range of key internal and external stakeholders
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any concerns or complaints if they arise
  • Formulating and driving a business plan to achieve all KPI’s
  • Operating within the training and competence scheme by providing accurate, full and relevant information to customers

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to have specific knowledge and experience in invoice finance within corporate banking. You’ll also need to know about audit and risk requirements, as well as having experience in meeting and exceeding customer needs.

  • Knowledge of different technology platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good relationship management experience with the ability to network effectively
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience of delivering presentations to groups
  • If you don't have it already, you'll need to complete the Certificate in Lending Skills and Accreditation in Business Review within the first 6 months of starting this role.
  • We’re looking for someone to drive the business development function and activities and build partnerships for new opportunities
  • You’ll be looking for potential in new relationships with business leaders, partners and other related organizations
  • Our Invoice Finance function brings together the invoice finance asset-based lending activities of commercial Banking, and you'll help us to continue to evolve to meet the developing needs of our client base
  • You'll be well positioned to develop your career profile and hone your business expertise, as you support our overall growth strategy
