Job Description

The role will be varied, working both with internal and a range of industry and governmental external stakeholders. It will require understanding of risks and controls at a product level, the ability to direct and influence the scope of a large scale analytics programme, to provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders internally and within government and to influence and evaluate lender engagement in management and mitigation of financial crime risks across the schemes. It is essential that you have experience of financial crime risk management within a regulated financial services environment.

You will be taking responsibility for Financial Crime, including Fraud, risk management activities across the Bank. role will help ensure that the Bank complies with relevant laws and regulations relating to financial crime, operates in adherence with its own policy and risk appetite statement and effectively manages the financial crime risks associated with its operations.
The role will include considerable liaison across government partners and enforcement agencies to help scope and shape the response to financial crime and fraud risks in the portfolio.
We continue to work from home but will return to the office when safe to do so. The Bank supports flexible working and we would welcome applications from any candidates who will need to continue with an element of home working, on the understanding that travel to the office will be necessary when business needs require.
