Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity working as a key member of the Treasury team, with exposure to the senior management team. The role maintains appropriate internal and external relationships including system providers and Treasury audit teams. This role sits within the Middle Office function of Treasury, which includes accounting, reporting, systems and controls.

There will be focus on complex areas such as hedge accounting (Jet fuel, FX, and interest rate derivatives) and other critical areas such as financing and investments.

You’ll also be managing a small team that looks after Treasury payments and journals, categorization of cash flows, verifying trade confirmations and settlements and you’ll be required to support your team’s development and progression within Treasury.

In this role there will be lots of opportunity to recommend changes to current processes to improve controls and productivity.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To do this role you’ll need to be a fully qualified accountant with hedge and treasury accounting experience. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills with an eye for detail. Be able to communicate complex ideas in a simple for at all levels. Be analytical and the ability deliver and drive to achieve objectives.
