To achieve this, we have recognized the critical importance of Data and have set out to deliver a data strategy to support our growth ambitions. To ensure focused and effective delivery, we have set up a dedicated Data Domain to lead solutions at a global and market level and help influence business direction, control and compliance.

Key responsibilities:

• Influence strategy and support the shape of the programme approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes
• Support detailed business case definition, and business change cost estimates
• Identify and manage dependencies with other VSs / Enabler VSs, actively problem solve and generate options for resolution to keep delivery at pace and keep escalations to minimum
• Accountable for driving governance activities.
• Engage with Management to identify business priorities, including interlocks, to support business critical deliveries.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Be conversant and comfortable in discussing data matters with senior levels of business leadership.
• Experience in data related and broader architectural transformation
• A deep understanding or proven ability to rapidly develop knowledge of the GPB&W business, and banking and finance terminology is essential.
• Experience of and an ability to understand information flow, process and policy within a large global financial institution
• Awareness of relevant data related legislation within financial services such as GDPR, PSD2, BCBS239, and outsourcing regulations that apply to data, particularly in relation to the use of cloud service providers.
• Bring leadership and deep understanding of how risk and controls can be applied across the data portfolio to ensure compliance is achieved
• Extensive experience of operating in a dispersed and global matrix organization
• Proven experience of delivering complex change initiatives
• Expertise in programme and project management techniques and tooling
