Job Description

The role will provide finance support for company’s satellite internet business for retail (B2C and B2B) and wholesale partners for the EMEA region. In this capacity, he/she will be a key member of the regional finance team with a critical role in building and maintaining financial planning and operations functions and facilitating overall finance/accounting support to the region in conjunction with regional and corporate teams. The successful candidate will have EMEA multinational operations experience in either Telecom or SaaS sector with strong technical finance and accounting skills and a track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial analysis to assess potential new (geographic and product) market entry, acquisitions, partnerships and other contractual relationships
• Develop and maintain comprehensive long-term financial models
• Design and prepare regular monthly management reporting (both financial and key performance indicators)
• Support monthly close process, financial audits and tax / statutory reporting with support from US and European regional accounting and finance teams
• Coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes (full P&L and capital spending) to drive performance in alignment with long-term growth objectives
• Prepare cash flow projections; execute strategies and operating procedures to optimize working capital
• Conduct regular and ad hoc analysis to assess subscriber economics, bandwidth yield of service offerings, pricing and promotional proposals and other new business opportunities
• Assist in execution of transfer pricing and other tax planning strategies in conjunction with corporate team
• Assist in developing and maintaining financial process and controls
• Supervise, develop and mentor financial analysts as the regional finance team expands with growth in operations

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting or related positions
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or another quantitative discipline; advanced degree / Chartered Accountant / MBA designation preferred
• Telecommunications (Retail/Wholesale), cable, satellite or other subscription service business experience, including familiarity with subscriber economics and industry KPI’s
• Public multinational (preferably Western European / EMEA) company experience
• Advanced knowledge of financial modelling techniques.
• Advanced Excel/modeling skills; strong PowerPoint / presentation skills

• Familiarity with data analytics tools, methodologies and dash boarding / visualization applications
