Job Description

Looking for an interim (18 months contract) experienced Finance professional, to take on overall management and reporting of the UK and South Africa accounts, reporting to the Senior FP&A Manager and working closely with the Account Development Managers (ADM’s) on a day-to-day basis.
Responsible for management financial reporting including month-end close, budgets and forecasting, for UK and South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage UK & South Africa -specific forecasts and reporting, build rapport with key stakeholders, and develop financial models to help business closing new opportunities, achieving targets and objectives.
• Support the annual strategic planning exercises, forecasting processes, as well help deliver in-year targets.
• As part of the team prepare and consolidate monthly reporting to support corporate month end close.
• Work with accounting team closely to ensure accuracy and timeliness of related accounting transactions.
• Build strong relationships and credibility across various departments, including international and group finance organization, as well as other business partners.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Support development of presentations and management reports for senior leadership meeting.
• Review, understand and provide analysis and insights into key markets and trends.
• Act as lead analyst on complex special projects and/or ad hoc reporting requests.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• BS/BA degree in Finance/Accounting is required
• 3+ years fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) is preferable
• High quality analytical and problem-solving skills
• Being able to work independently
• Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Abilities and expertise in Enterprise Financial reporting systems e.g. SAP & BPC
• Ability to work with senior management on a day-to-day basis
