Job Description

The role holder will initially be responsible for the finances but will quickly grow into a remit that will also include Italy, Spain & France. Individual will manage financial reporting and processes for both Client and company, including (but not limited to) month-end management reporting, client's reporting, monthly forecasting, annual budget preparation and special projects. Ensure sound financial support is provided to Client, Client Account leader, respective business line leaders, etc. Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to for both internal and client financial reporting, and that all deadlines are met.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing month end activities, ensure correct UER/UBR/accruals are in place with company monthly accounts (preparation, review & approval).
  • P&L reporting, review & reconciliation for bottom line result.
  • P&L variance analysis, bridges & reporting
  • Review the numbers with the site facility managers and coordinators.
  • Managing contract invoicing and submission of invoice in client system, drive prompt invoicing of completed work.
  • Extracting open Client PO's and collecting information on invoicing including In Scope and Non-Controllable elements.
  • Reconciliation of Labor, 3rd party costs.
  • Reviewing open POs (cost accruals with local contract support) to develop a positive trend in closing this off.
  • Baseline budget preparation & communication.
  • Provide of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations for serviced Countries.
  • Introduce & improve internal control / risk management
  • Process alignment, improvement & simplification
  • Delivering month-end reporting with the break-down of InScope, Reactive, Labor and non-Controllable elements.
  • Country & regional meeting and presentations with the client for UK & Western Europe.
  • Quarterly Business Reporting- consolidated excel data preparation
  • Saving glide path and drive cost saving initiatives
  • Process alignment, improvement & simplification
  • Attend to adhoc enquiries & analysis

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Financial experience in similar role of 7 years with qualified management.
  • Managerial skills (currently 1 direct report)
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy/ Finance or Professional Accounting/ Finance qualification
  • Good knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Analytical skills and high level of accuracy
  • Ensuring full audit trail of all financial transactions including SOX compliance requirements
  • Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good knowledge of SAP will be an advantage
  • Ability to confidently work through problems and identify solutions/recommendations that have direct impact on operations
  • Managing performance against KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work to clearly defined deadlines
  • Multi-task on projects to meet deadlines, attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervisions when appropriated, and effectively in a complex environment
