Job Description
We are looking for someone with excellent working knowledge of end-to-end payroll to oversee the monthly payroll and to contribute to the daily accounting tasks of the UK Finance team.
Responsibilities
- End to end payroll processing, to include monthly inputs, pension administration, processing through to RTI submission and payment
- Calculation of SSP/CSP/SMP and other statutory payments
- Checking/collating overtime hours from the Time and Attendance system
- Understanding and following payroll procedures and payroll related forms.
- Maintaining and updating employee records on the payroll system.
- Preparation of ad hoc reports as required.
- Liaising with HR regarding new hires, terminations, remuneration, overtime and any other additional payroll.
- Complying with relevant legislation and regulations
- Management of pension auto-enrolment & Gender Pay Gap reporting
- Liaising with third party providers in relation to pensions and other benefits
- Completing year-end processes and reporting
- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, pay slips and other payroll matters
- Ensuring all HMRC reporting requirements and compliance are adhered to in a timely manner
- Identifies, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records
- Honoring confidentiality of employees’ pay records
- Undertaking any other tasks/duties as may be reasonably required in line with level of role
