Job Description

We are looking for a fully qualified Senior Financial Accountant to join our team to focus on performing month end reporting and analysis for key P&L items, taking ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and ensure external reporting deadlines are met.

  • Support with month end reporting and analysis on key P&L line items.
  • Perform actuals vs. forecast/plan analysis and present results in the monthly Finance Director review.
  • Ensuring all external deadlines are met with good preparation.
  • Responsibility for reporting and engagement with selected operational business areas on their performance.
  • Understand key reconciliations and follow up any issues with the relevant member of staff and highlight any material issue to senior management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACCA or ACA qualified
  • A good understanding of financial reporting and balance sheets.
  • Ownership of tasks and issues through to completion
  • Confident and assertive, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and work pro-actively
  • Ability to priorities, plan and meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a business with a centralized group finance function
