Join us as a Treasury Finance Manager

- We’ll look to you to work with offshore teams in delivering quality daily, weekly and monthly financial control of term funding on both the balance sheet and P&L

You’ll be preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly and yearly statutory disclosures for the bank. Alongside this, you’ll be working with front office, middle office and balance sheet management teams regarding issuance, maturities and any buy-back initiatives.
You’ll be:
- Maintaining an involvement with the capital activities in our core legal entities, such as dealing with subsidiary investments, dividend income and expense, and monitoring capital instruments
- Supporting with project work, covering control and process enhancement and efficiency initiatives
- Running complex accounting routines around term debt such as fair value hedging, fair value options model and own credit adjustments
- Preparing relevant accounting, balance sheet substantiation and business support requirements
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You’ll have knowledge of a banking or treasury environment and an accountancy qualification such as an ACCA, ACA or CIMA. We’ll also need you to have a background of working closely with offshore teams and experience of completing statutory disclosures in addition to normal accounting procedures.
You’ll demonstrate:
- Experience of finance control in a financial services environment
- Knowledge of accounting for term issuance and fixed rate instruments
- A good understanding of cash and derivative products
- Knowledge of IFRS, in particular IAS
- The ability to manage projects or support ad hoc project work
- Good interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to work with people across different teams and levels
