Job Description

In this role, you will build and leverage strong relationships across our finance, risk, operations, technology and compliance functions and Flow Credit business leads to fully engage with global partners in the consolidation of regionally run initiatives and regulatory commitments. 

Your key responsibilities

  • Work with the Trading and Sales heads to develop and implement the target state business model
  • Partner with infrastructure to build out the capabilities required to operate and scale the business successfully and safely
  • Following a successful build out, work with GEM Trading/ Sales teams and infrastructure partners to contribute to revenue/ streamlining initiatives such as client and product initiatives, including execution of New Product Approvals
  • Support management with intra year cost management and year-end revenue planning
  • Support the Flow Credit franchise from a Business Control Unit (BCU) perspective, work alongside the GEM BCU function and infrastructure groups to ensure appropriate control and Non-Financial Risk framework adherence
  • Work alongside the business in owning the Audit relationship and supporting all audits to the GEM Flow Credit franchise

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Previous relevant experience in a business manager/ infrastructure role supporting a Flow Credit trading desk
  • Diligent, efficient team player, ability to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure
  • Highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges, ‘can do’ approach and deliver results
  • Strong communication, organization and change management skills
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/relevant work experience
