Job Description

To enrich the Global Financial function through leading and supporting transversal projects across regions, functions, and divisions. To explore new technologies, processes and systems to drive greater agility, efficiency and analysis

Responsibility:

  • Programme manage key finance initiatives to support the alignment and understanding of key processes across the organization.
  • Liaise between multi-functional teams to define core elements of developing global finance systems and processes
  • Develop tools and methodologies to assist functions to assess the efficiency and efficacy of their controls and processes and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Foster communication, collaboration, prioritization and best practice sharing between the Chanel finance community and other functions.
  • Develop templates, processes, and posting guidelines to drive consistency of usage and reporting
  • Work closely with ongoing finance project teams to provide needed support and timely updates
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients and colleagues
  • Continue to explore new technologies and methodologies, relating to finance, through publications, conferences, exhibitions and networking to contribute to the development of the global finance function within Chanel.
  • Issue resolution/escalation.
  • Active and real-time intervention to ensure course correction and delivery.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You will join a team of dedicated Finance professionals to apply leading-edge project and programme management expertise to the successful assessment, development and execution of a portfolio of initiatives that support the realization of the Finance of the Future objectives.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent+ in business or technical discipline.
  • Have familiarity and experience with financial systems.
  • Have strong project management skills.
  • Work well in team environment, with sound negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate a keen desire to continually learn and grow.
  • Show strong interpersonal capabilities and ability to work cross-functionally with other teams.
  • Possess excellent presentation skills with solid communication capabilities and practices, both oral and written.
  • Have proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Power BI an advantage.
  • Programme and project management expertise.
  • A passion for exploring new technologies
  • Fluency in extracting and interpreting data.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Agility and resilience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Familiarity and comfort with working in a complex global environment with large volumes of data.
  • The ability to present the results of your findings and make appropriate recommendations, whilst being considerate of other’s methodologies and techniques.
