You will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and submission of IFRS financial statements, preparation of Budget and Forecast, to headquarters, and the Timely and accurate preparation, organization, steering, problem resolution and submission of annual statutory accounts, plus comprehensive presentation of financial review summary,

Your duties will include:

  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes and key financial performance metrics in all entities of the UK Production Triangle and other subsidiaries under control.
  • Ownership of all reporting processes of the respective subsidiary.
  • Responsible for decision-making and accounting judgments in relation to relevant financial reporting issues in conjunction with Group Leader/Manager.
  • Decision-making influence’s view of headquarters on viability and trustworthiness of financial reporting function.
  • Accuracy of reporting has direct impact on view taken by external and internal audit of the adequacy of management and internal controls.
  • Assist in identification of system issues and support their resolution to facilitate problem solving
  • Continually review processes to identify issues, inefficiencies and implement and influence changes using all available tools and methods
  • Identifying and promoting internal control mechanisms to improve the ICS environment in the department and wider business
  • Independent management of the statutory audit with both the auditors and internal information provides

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or comparable
  • Proven corporate accounting experience
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, IFS
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and communicate at all levels
  • The ability to work independently with strong prioritization to achieve tight deadlines and take ownership for your own workload and tasks
