Job Description

As a member of the senior finance team, to work closely with the Head of Financial Services on all financial accounting issues. To complete Monthly Returns, plan and deliver the Annual Accounts, capital accounting, Charity and Pharmacy accounting. To lead on VAT accounting, monthly production of information for reporting to the Trust Board. To deputies for the Head of Financial Services.
This is a key role within the financial services team and will provide accounting expertise to all areas falling within its remit. It will have line management responsibility for several members of staff. The key deliverables of this role are

• Trust Accounts
• Financial Control
• Capital Accounting
• Charity & Subsidiary Accounts
• Treasury Management (including Cash Office)
• Control Accounts & Balance Sheet integrity

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful post holder will lead on the production of annual accounts, monthly and other financial returns, in addition to leading the team which provides a range of services including financial control, cash and banking, and capital accounting. An ability to produce quality work to meet deadlines is essential as is a desire to succeed.
