Job Description
- Ensuring accurate monthly reporting ensuring it is in line with the monthly reporting close process
- Maintaining a financial controls framework
- Ensuring entities meet financial and tax requirements (including statutory financial statements, PAYE, VAT)
- Working closely with the Tax, Treasury and Financial Reporting functions to ensure compliance
- Implementing improvement projects
- Preparation and submission of exceptional costs and reporting on payroll costs
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, annual cash forecasts
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Fluent in English and German (essential)
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or studying towards this qualification
- Good people and communication skills, liaising with finance/stakeholders on relevant issues
- "Can do attitude" to drive change through team
- Excellent organizational skills with good attention to detail
- Attitude to continually improve processes and seek new challenges
- Previous experience of working in a shared service finance function would be an advantage
