Job Description

We’re one of the world’s largest content recommendation platforms, delighting audiences with engaging, personalized content recommendations while serving as the primary engagement partner and platform for the world’s top digital media companies. The Accounts Payable Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the AP function of the Corporate Finance departments including routine disbursements to vendors as well as supervision and development of AP staff.

  • Manage AP department activities including but not limited to the execution of: vendor billing, check disbursements, collection of vendor tax documentation, and the department’s processes.
  • Perform and supervise month-end closing processes within AP, ensuring tasks are completed timely in compliance with Company policies.
  • Develop AP related accounting policies, processes, desktop procedures, and controls leveraging knowledge of best practices.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators which measure performance and efficiency of the accounts payable team and related processes.
  • Interact with business departments and operation teams to drive efficiency, improve the vendor relationship, and smooth AP process.
  • Train and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product.
  • Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
  • Maintain SOX controls and procedures; assist external and internal auditors with requests.
  • Assists with testing and implementation of automation tools to enhance the AP workflow.
  • Implement efficiencies and improvements to current processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to act as a leader as well as take a “hands on” approach for the daily transactional responsibility.
  • Ability to lead and mentor AP team.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a Global company.
  • Demonstrate proactive communication skills for communicating with support personnel and management.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to confidently present information to internal employees.
  • Exhibit strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work for subordinates.
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience.
  • Management experience required.
  • Management or Supervisory experience required. (Remote would be a plus).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, required, and experience with NetSuite would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
