Job Description

Establishing relationships with key stakeholders in the labels and understanding their needs in respect of financial information. Lead the team in establishing good communication with the key label stakeholders, promoting a seamless link between the central label team and the business. Providing insight and knowledge to the labels to support business decisions, whilst maintaining KPIs and strict controls in an ever-changing and fast paced environment.

  • Day to Day management of our offshore team, overseeing the processes and daily deliverables to the UK Music Labels.
  • Be the key point of support for the labels and external queries.
  • Manage and maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of our on and offshore teams.
  • Regular meetings with key finance stakeholders.
  • Deliver financial reporting and analysis to UK Music Label finance teams to the highest standards.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and management across UK Music Labels, identifying areas of improvement and opportunity.
  • Drive change through challenging and developing current processes and/or systems, and standardization.
  • Overseeing the receivables’ function and team, ensuring processes are adhered to and prompt collection of companies debt
  • Maintain robust management of KPIs and controls for offshore and onshore teams.
  • Assist with quarterly, half yearly and annual internal and external audit preparation.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (at least 2 years post qual)
  • 4-5 years’ experience in similar role, with proven direct / indirect management experience with experience in BPO (business outsourcing) or remote management an advantage
  • Media background an advantage
  • Team player, good at building professional relationships and adapting a personal approach to deal with different personalities and varying levels of knowledge and skills across the organization.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Strong technical experience, particularly in Excel, SAP, Business Objects Reporting, HFM
  • SOX experience, an advantage
  • Willing to travel
