Job Description

This role will report to the Head of FP&A, UK Toxicology and would suit a person wanting to accelerate their development in a role with a wide remit and opportunity to act as key business partner to senior managers within the business, across commercial, operational and lab service divisions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly developed team, in a dynamic business.
While the role currently does not have any direct reports, there will be responsibility for managing contributions from finance shared service Centre’s and departmental budget holders.
What You’ll Do?

• Completion of monthly financial reporting packs for budget holders and commercial managers
• Monthly financial reporting and analysis to Head of FP&A
• Act as key commercial finance partner to sales managers for specified divisions, supporting with monthly projections, data analysis and pricing
• Serve as a key finance business partner to business managers across multiple departments providing financial analysis and reporting to support decision making
• Under the guidance of the Head of FP&A, complete the quarterly forecasting requirements for agreed departments to a high standard and to required deadlines being able to identify and communicate risks and opportunities to delivery of the forecast commitment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified/Part Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). QBE will be considered dependent on experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
• Strong computer skills especially MS Office (Advanced Excel skills essential)
• Able to interact with key stakeholders at a senior level
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in supporting commercial teams is an advantage
• Experience of Hyperion and SAP is an advantage
