Job Description

You’ll have the freedom to raise the bar for compliance and efficiency in a global business. We are looking for a Regional Controls Assurance Lead to join the Regional Controls Assurance team. You will manage a team of regional assurance resources/control service centres/third parties to deliver the annual compliance programme.

You will be required to travel to UK and within Region as required. Estimate Approx 25%.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• You are a Qualified accountant with minimum 10 years PQE Experience in senior financial position(s) or within an internal control function of a large international company delivering controls transformation, or Big 4 consulting services in the area of governance, risk management or audit.
• You have in-depth knowledge and experience of internal control frameworks, risk-based auditing models (e.g. COSO) and compliance frameworks.
• You can identify emerging issues in assurance and internal controls through scanning the internal and external business and risk environment.
• You will have high proficiency in stakeholder management, partnership and influence.
• Demonstrated ability to develop solutions to complex problems and present confidently at senior levels.
• You will have proven experience of building, developing and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
• Able to influence and take strategic decisions across the business.
• You will have a proven track record in driving performance and leading global, diverse teams on concurrent projects, with emphasis on best practices and inspiring and driving effective change and improvement.
