Job Description

This role will manage 2 direct reports, ensuring compliance and controls are followed, working closely with the outsourced payroll provider and supporting several business areas.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Working closely with Finance to ensure appropriate SOX controls are in place and payroll processes and actions are compliant to these controls.
• Respond to relevant queries from internal and external auditors.
• Ensure accurate record keeping for journals and reconciliations and work with Finance to ensure accurate account balances.
• Full ownership and understanding of all financial aspects of payroll.
• Managing the relationship with the outsourced payroll provider.
• Enhance, document and embed processes and procedures ensuring services provide maximum efficiencies and continuous improvements.
• Support payroll aspects of any projects.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Payroll qualification preferred
• Strong payroll knowledge and experience
• People management experience and ability to work in a team
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Process driven with the ability to problem solve
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
• Comfortable dealing with high volume and highly confidential matters
