Job Description
- Ownership of financial and management accounting for their property portfolio, including tax responsibilities
- Involved in any potential Group acquisitions and disposals analyzing any lease costs, taxation, financing and inter-company transactions
- Budgeting and cash flow forecasting including variance analysis
- Audit preparation of statutory accounts including consolidations and reconciliations
- Taxation matters such as corporation tax, VAT and CIS
- Assisting in the implementation of new internal financial management reports
- Develop strong systems and financial controls, setting best practice across the business
- Supporting the Board in reporting on any asset management and development projects
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE (ACCA or ACA)
- Practice or real estate background
- Ability to work cohesively with non-financial stakeholders such as asset managers and surveyors
- Prior experience improving process and procedures within a finance function would be preferable but not essential
