Job Description
- Play a vital role in the UK Markets team leading the sourcing and origination of new institutional lending investments in the UK and European geographies
- Cover the multiverse of institutional investors across all our funding channels, with particular focus on Banks
- Initiate, cultivate and lead new strategic investor opportunities and drive them to completion of a Term Sheet for potential investments
- Manage ongoing relationships with a variety of UK and European institutional investors, including Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers and Hedge Funds
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including the Commercial, Strategic Business Development, Risk & Analytics, Legal, Product, Operations and Communications teams
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experienced at a top tier investment bank, asset manager or hedge fund with experience in Fixed Income sales
- Knowledgeable in Fixed Income markets together with a strong network of key banks and buy-side investors
- Pro-active with a drive and determination to build a sales and investor brand strategy
- Confident, highly presentable and able to interact directly and autonomously with a wide variety of investors and stakeholders (ranging from C-suite and MD level through to mid-level execution teams)
- Ambitious, dedicated and excited about working with highly motivated and smart individuals in an entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness for some travel
