Job Description

• Lead sourcing, meetings, and due diligence of European private equity funds (venture, growth, buyout), secondary and co-investments transactions and present to the global investment committee
• Engage in business development and fundraising activities as senior investment expert to support fundraising through our different distribution channels
• Generate persuasive and supported investment ideas to fit different risk profiles and set tactical asset allocation and strategies as portfolio manager across products and investment mandates
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with internal teams, clients and external parties
• Identify new industry trends and develop investments themes and thesis for sectors, strategies and regions and get engaged in product development and management to launch products with direct impact on our revenue line

Our team is responsible for managing and selecting private equity funds for mandates and multi-investors fund-of-funds for institutional clients on a discretionary basis. You’ll play an important role in our proven investment and monitoring process.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Senior research analyst / portfolio manager with ideally 6 -10 years working experience in investing in private equity funds, co-investments and secondaries
• Strong network and knowledge of European private equity universe and hands-on knowledge on private equity funds as well as financial modelling, strong analytical skills, direct and secondary asset valuation experience and an understanding of business concepts for investment decision-making and management.
• Be business-minded creating and driving new business initiatives to grow our MMPE business
• Master’s degree in finance, economics or business administration; being IMC / CFA / CAIA qualified is an advantage
• Experienced with business development and fundraising from institutional investors
• Proficient in English, fluency in another European language would be a plus
