Job Description

This position would suit candidates who have some recent work experience in an accounts team and has recently gained a relevant degree or AAT qualification and who is looking to continue with their studies and start their accountancy career within practice. The firm will provide full on-the-job training and will support you through the certified ACCA qualification during a 3-year training contract.

Role and responsibilities:

• Monthly review of clients' financial information, including tax calculations
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions to HMRC
• Preparation of clients' year end accounts
• Submission of accounts and tax returns with HMRC and Companies House
• Resolving client queries and delivering excellent service

The practice is looking for a committed and dedicated candidate with an aptitude for figures and a passion to become a qualified accountant with the firm.
