Job Description

  • Influence and communicate with the Investment Management Leadership Team (IMLT) to ensure full understanding of financials
  • Support end-to-end financial planning for Global Investments.
  • Co-ordinate business planning and prioritization
  • Prepare and summarize recommendations for financial and business planning and control
  • Prepare and analyze business plan and operational forecasts
  • Measure business performance by: 
  • Working closely with specific business unit(s) to develop and analyze relevant metrics
  • Reporting and analyzing strategy contribution, highlighting key messages
  • Conduct special financial and business-related research and studies as needed 
  • Reporting expenses and highlighting risks and opportunities to budgets
  • Understanding the specific drivers of cost across each team and ensuring budgets and forecasts reflect approved spend only
  • Constantly drive efficiency in process and cost management to ensure resources are efficiently utilized.
  • Motivate, lead, and inspire the broader team to reach collective goals
  • Collaborate and share knowledge of business activities
  • Encourage cross team projects and collaboration
  • Share resources across the team as required
  • Drive improvements in systems and working practices 
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent.
  • Significant FP&A or management reporting experience across multiple functions
  • Business Partnering experience essential, partnering with Investment functions highly desirable
  • Investment Management industry experience essential
  • Experience of working with and influencing Executive level Stakeholders
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Advanced competency with Microsoft Excel and proficiency with other Microsoft outlook tools
  • Excellent analytical ability with a good attention to detail and ability provide relevant financial insight
  • Able to work independently to research, analyze, synthesize, and present complex qualitative and quantitative data clearly
  • Strong organizational/administrative management skills, with the proven ability to work effectively under pressure, and manage multiple projects and assignments under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency with Power BI, Anaplan, or other financial reporting software a plus
  • Team player with a flexible, results driven approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to understand the objectives and priorities of the business
  • Ability to work efficiently within a global team
