Job Description

Deliver transformation projects in the finance function and support the operation of finance technology applications.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot core finance applications
  • Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
  • Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
  • Translate technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
  • Manage the set-up and configuration of systems
  • Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
  • Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of finance systems to meet the business and user needs
  • Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Post qualified (ACCA, or CA) individual with a strong academic record
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with entity reporting frameworks (e.g. IFRS)

Experience in delivering projects and functionality utilizing the suite of Workday Financials products including:

  • Strong Microsoft Power BI and Excel skills
  • Some supervisory experience and can demonstrate the ability to support and enable a team through change
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
