Job Description
The Role: reporting directly to the Head of Finance the successful candidate will provide senior finance leadership support to both the Sales and Marketing functions. Key areas of focus in this role include optimizing both trade investment and marketing spend and providing financial support for new product launches and sales promotions.
Accountabilities:
- Ownership of P&L reporting in relation to Sales, Cost of Sales, Trade Investment (TI) and Marketing Spend.
- Provide commercially sound financial analysis (focusing on ROI) related to investment in both Marketing and Trade investment (TI).
- Be a true finance business partner to commercial teams, providing accurate and timely financial analysis of NPD launches.
- Review and sign off COS for all SKU’s and ensure robust and accurate COS margin reporting is developed for Hygienics. Provide accurate costing for NPD SKU’s and ensure commercial sign off before product costs go “live” in SAP.
- Own the budgeting and quarterly forecasting process for Sales, COS, TI and Marketing.
- Develop monthly margin variance reporting versus budget/forecast.
- Provide monthly variance reporting and commentary for both Marketing and Trade Investment spend. Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support Sales and Marketing executives.
- Develop KPI’s and reporting packages providing data analytics and fact-based commercial insights.
- SAP Project – exciting opportunity to lead the Reporting work stream and work with functional leads to sure up reporting tools to meet business requirements.
- Provide cover to support the production of monthly management accounts.
