Job Description

Our client, a dynamic market leader in its specialized field, is going through a period of considerable expansion, and as such is looking to source a part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA to join its dynamic finance team initially on a 6-month basis. This role will give an ambitious individual the chance to prove their skill set quickly and be given future opportunities to move around the finance team. You will also support certain day-to-day financial operations of the UK businesses.
Main duties include:

• Support preparation of the group consolidated monthly management accounts with insight to performance for distribution for the Board
• Assist the Group consolidation processes and reconciliation of intercompany ledgers
• Liaising with the Group's external and internal auditors
• Support preparation of financial statements, and statutory accounts under IFRS
• Assist with preparation of annual audit deliverables on P&L and Balance Sheet
• Supporting the planning cycles for central P&L
• Drive improvements in group reporting capabilities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Qualified or Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong financial capability with technical accounting knowledge and experience gained from working for a top/mid tier-accounting practice or a group finance function
• Ability to deliver high quality and accurate output to deliver on key deadlines
• Attention to detail, driven and able to balance multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills - conscientious, flexible, proactive and enthusiastic
