Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in driving transactions and providing analysis to support project acquisitions strategy and M&A. Specifically, you will assist in the following:

• Leading the commercial structuring of new Projects and Joint Venture development. 
• Appraising potential investment or divestment decisions.
• Supporting M&A and project financing transactions. 
• Reviewing, auditing outputs from the modelling work streams and ensuring correct presentation of opportunity and risk in group and operating company board approvals.
• Preparation of Board papers including evaluating impacts on the Group's key metrics such as earnings, net debt, and credit ratings. 
• Supporting strategic decision making on aspects such as capital structure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Highly analytical and experienced problem solver with a keen attention to detail able to distil large volume to key themes. 
• Ability to provide high quality work on a timely and consistent basis.
• Confident communicator who can simplify complex messages. 
• Ability to lead \ help lead a multidisciplinary team through a transaction, identifying the deal team through to execution and demonstrating strong project management.
• Ability to read and understand the obligations and quantify opportunities in a contract but equally identify and assess key risks and probabilities. 
• Strong financial modelling skills and prior experience in corporate finance or transaction delivery environment desirable but not essential.
