Job Description
- Measuring and analyzing the profitability of the activity’s portfolio (clients, businesses, geographies) and the use of all resources (overheads, balance sheet, capital, liquidity, etc.)
- Certifying accounts (accounting quality, valuation methods, orders options, etc., regardless of the production centres, external auditors, regulators, etc.
- Ensuring the necessary support and the right level of expertise on the subjects of accounting standards, audit
- Deliver a high-quality closing monitoring process
- Oversee and monitor key monthly finacial controls
- Facilitate timely feedback and monitor to the audit recommendations portfolio.
- Maintain and update the controls blueprints
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience and skills in audit, accounting and controls framework
- Experience and knowledge of brokerage business,
- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting and banking regulations,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Strong ability to liaise will all relevant departments and levels of management,
- Ability to identify and take ownership of complex issues
- Degree in Finance/Accounting with at least 5 years’ experience in a financial services company or significant experience in a similar function
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics, MBA preferred
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- Accounting diploma (ACCA) or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- French speaker is a plus but not mandatory for this role
