Job Description

The post holders will be expected to work at a high level in the organization demonstrating credibility with Trust Executives, Divisional Directors, Clinical Chiefs, Senior Management Team and Senior Clinicians at all levels. The Senior Finance Manager role is to provide expert analytical and decision support in the financial management, planning and direction of the clinical services as well as playing a leadership role within the Financial Management Team.
The roles will focus on:

• Ensuring the Trust’s limited financial resources are used effectively in pursuit of its agreed goals and objectives. Skills in presentation of ideas and influencing others will be a clear requirement
• Autonomously providing professional comprehensive financial management information and advice to the Divisional Triumvirates, Trust Executives, clinical specialty leads and all budget holders in user friendly terms to enable the achievement of their financial responsibilities.
• Providing robust monthly performance monitoring reports that can be used to drive key management decisions.
• Managing and training a team of management accounts.
