Supervisory responsibility for consolidation of monthly actual results, covering intercompany elimination and investment-equity elimination.
Responsible for the integrity of consolidation.
Supervisory responsibility for Magnitude submission for monthly actuals, annual share phase and off-balance sheet commitment packages.
Supervisory responsibility for preparation of monthly close financial reports (profit and loss and cash flow).
Manage a team of Consolidation and Reporting Analysts.
Responsibility for profit split methodology transfer pricing calculation, and issuance of the monthly invoice upload file. SPOC for operational level queries related to the calculation.
Coordination with the wider Finance and Tax teams to ensure queries related to monthly reporting are addressed in a timely fashion.
Liaising with internal and external auditors.
Ownership of foreign exchange reporting including CTA validation.
Ensure Sarbox compliance with activity related to consolidation and reporting.
Supervisory responsibility for the accounting of IAS19 pension schemes.
Ownership of all central ledger for top consolidation entries.
Responsibility for deferred tax calculation in partnership with Tax department and Group.
Issuance of monthly group reporting instructions.
Supervisory responsibility for the maintenance of Balance sheet packs used by Regional Controllers for monthly reporting.
Continually drive for process improvement/efficiency.
Preparation and submission of annual Country by Country Tax Reporting (CBCR) Magnitude package.
Calculation of deferred tax assets and liabilities at Group level – prepared for key close dates.
Preparation of IFRS16 entries and subsequent reconciliation of balances.
Supervisory responsibility for the preparation of the annual cashflow budget.
Owner of Chart of Account dictionary and SPOC for related queries.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educated to business degree or higher. Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
At least 4 years of post-qualification work experience in audit consolidation and reporting
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Good analytical mind, problem solving approach, demonstrated track record of financial modelling.
A global approach and an appreciation of cultural differences.
Good team player, with ability to act as individual practitioner and leader.
Reports to Chief Accounting Officer.
Regular liaison and reporting to Group Treasury, Group Consolidation and Reporting, Chief Accounting Officer/Group Controller, Head of Tax, Head of Transfer Pricing, external auditors.
