Job Description

You will be responsible for developing the structure and accountable for its go-to-market actions through interacting with the market on any legal, regulatory or company initiated change that is relevant and important for our clients and targets. They will ensure campaigns are properly centralized and executed to avoid unnecessary duplication and cost, reduce time to market, increase market awareness and through effective follow up, increase revenue and customer experience. This role would suit an experienced marketing professional that has experience of managing their own budget.

  • Drive increased market activity and sales for Tax through an effective campaign management strategy, process, and its execution.
  • Provide strategic oversight to determine how campaigns within Tax should be run by working with Tax Sub Service Lines to drive relevant and prioritized campaigns across the existing tax client base and also across new target clients and segments.
  • Work with key stakeholders within Tax, Business Development, Pursuits, Events and Market Operations to improve our go-to-market activities through best practice leverage and commercially driven campaign development and deployment.
  • Influence and drive a change in mind-set and behaviour of our Tax practice (in particular our One Tax & Law Leaders / Tax Account Leaders.
  • Tax Market Segment Leaders and Sub-Service Line Leaders) in its go-to-market activities relating to campaigns focusing on opportunity, identification, activation, and performance management on all centralized campaigns.
  • Driving continuous campaign management improvement and ultimately increase revenue growth and sub service line penetration on accounts alongside driving efficiencies in campaign deployment.
  • Working with the Tax Markets Operating Model Programme Leader to create a fully integrated structure for delivering world class market campaigns.
  • Driving go-to-market campaigns into key segments, accounts and targets set by the Sub Service Line Leaders, Regional Heads of Tax and the Tax Markets Leader.
  • Leading regular campaign meetings with the Sub Service Line leaders and Heads of Tax
  • Providing campaign forecasts and managing variance to target.
  • Leading reviews on major campaigns and actioning insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Managing and liaising with key stakeholders to coordinate and improve the effectiveness of the campaign management and the go to market model for Tax.
  • Developing go to market materials that can be used by the wider client facing sales team making sure these campaign materials and other tools are useful and easily accessible.
  • Liaising with the relevant Sub Service Line Leaders, Regional Heads of Tax and the Tax Markets Leader to qualify and priorities relevant campaigns.
  • Driving the go to market campaigns, to help grow existing clients and attract new ones.
  • Liaising with marketing to ensure the voice of Tax is represented in internal and external communications.
  • Managing and analyzing reporting for sales campaign effectiveness and pipeline management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Highly organized and versatility of style (able to work with senior leaders and large groups of professionals)

  • Proven campaign management and/or market activation experience
  • Experience of business leadership (including projects, change programmes) and influencing
  • Extensive experience of working in a team and as a self-starter working independently
  • Project management skills
  • Experience of working in a marketing and sales environment - Marketing, Sales, Bid Management or equivalent experience
  • Project management skills, plan and priorities work, meet deadlines. monitor own budget
  • A background in professional services
  • Commercial/contract management experience
  • Tools/data presentation expertise - skilled usage of excel. PowerPoint etc.
  • Excellent Communication Skills, both Verbal and Written
  • Exceptional Delivery Skills
  • Strong Decision Making, Action Planning, and Prioritization Skills
