Job Description
- Ensure the accuracy of all financial records, preparing month end accounts with commentary and insight for the business
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts as well as being one of the main reviewers of other balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide support to the Finance Director on analysis required for periodic presentations
- Ensure compliance with all controls and maintain a culture of continual improvement with a focus on data integrity and efficiency
- Proactively provide all internal customers with analysis and support
- Proactively support the business departments and colleagues with finance issues
- Development of effective reports and analysis to ensure accurate measurement against performance KPIs
- Assist with the quarterly requirement to report on balance sheet
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- To be successful in this role, you will be an ACA or ACCA Qualified Accountant working in practice, looking for your first move into industry with a combination of audit and accounts prep experience.
- You could also already be working in industry with strong technical accounting experience, gained in a large business environment.
