Job Description

The role will manage a portfolio of clients, providing a full year end accounting service and basic corporation tax computations. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Prepare statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and sole trader accounts within deadline
• FRS102 and FRS105 statutory accounts and basic tax computation
• Reviewing of year end accounts from junior staff
• Mentoring & Coaching

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Applicants will need to have recent experience working in a chartered accountants in an Accounts based role. This will ideally have extensive working knowledge to a range of statutory / year end accounts production software. Additional key traits the firm are looking for are

• Technically strong on FRS102, 105 and UK GAAP accounting principles
• Client focused
• Ability to prepare statutory accounts for companies and other entities
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Ability to work under own initiative and in office
