Job Description

- Management of the transactional finance team – 5 members
- Leading the month end closing process for the UK entities
- Review and submission of VAT returns and compliance with HMRC
- Preparation of the Statutory Accounts for the UK entities
- Lead the external and internal audits
- Ensure integrity of financial data provided to other areas of the business
- Maintenance of fixed asset register Improvement of financial controls and monthly close
- procedures Maintain ERP system Experience of maintaining/reviewing balance sheet
- reconciliations
- Experience of financial reporting providing accurate commentary
- Review and approve all purchase & sales invoices.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and approving all bank payments.
- Assisting with internal & external projects.
- Consolidation Package to Parent company in Japan
- Information request from the parent company in Japan
- Ensure all period end deadlines are adhered to
- Operate with transparency and ensure excellent record keeping for audit trail
- Ad-hoc analysis and other duties as and when required
